Many New Features Of The Nhl 11 League Game

The nhl 11 league is another winning release from EA Sports. Players are getting spoiled by the continued improvements; but, they will still look for an improved version by next year. This is what they have come to expect from the NHL series. The North American cover features Jonathan Toews, captain of the Chicago Blackhawks, the Stanley Cup winning and the recipient of the 2010 Conn Smythe Trophy.

As has become a hallmark of EA Sports, NHL 11 marks an evolutionary step forward for the series. The changes generally allow for a more realistic and creative game play, mode changes and adding the Canadian Hockey League. This title can be played on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

NHL 11 can be played in the same game modes of NHL 10, plus a new Ultimate Team mode. The Ultimate Team mode is a new online mode where players use packs of virtual hockey cards to fill their team roster. There are some 4,000 players in 10 different leagues to collect and use. Here, you may assemble your own team from scratch and compete against other users online to determine the best team each month. While modes carried over from NHL 10 have not basically changed, the Be a Pro and Be a GM modes have been improved.

All the assembled teams will be part of the EA Ultimate Hockey League. A virtual season of 30 days will test players and their teams. Teams will be ranked for playoff brackets and births through single matches and tournament play.

Arena banners and on-ice logos identify teams that do well in the post-season. A Free Agent Pack and a Draft Pack are given during the off season to change the team member options. Users will find that chemistry plays a key role in this mode.

The biggest game play addition is the new real-time physics engine, which makes every match feel different and more realistic. This replaces the animation based system. The unpredictability of game play now better matches the unpredictability of real-life hockey. Realism is further enhanced by the new faceoff system. There are more than 200 game play enhancements that make the new game, the most authentic hockey video game experience so far. This title brings the addition of the Canadian Hockey League in play. The 3 subgroups are the Quebec Major Junior Hockey, the Ontario Hockey and the Western Hockey leagues. These young players constitute members of an elite level of junior hockey. Their addition increases the number of playable teams by 60. Players can now play for the Memorial Cup. Teams are using their appearance in the game as a promotional tool to raise popular awareness of junior hockey. The inclusion of junior player names in the game will help bring greater understanding of the role junior hockey plays in the professional game.

Already a best-selling game around the world, the addition of these young players will give many fans an introduction to young hockey players on the verge of being drafted into the NHL. With the NHL series already featuring teams from the NHL, the AHL and several European teams, the incorporation of the Canadian juniors further adds to the play value of NHL 11. The realistic gameplay along with the many modes of play will bring gamers coming back for more.
